Why hire a writer?
Writing is a means of communication, but more than that it is a deeply personal process of connection and discovery. The right words can either resonate with an audience or alienate them. This is why only an expert with lived, human experience can write the content you need.
My written body of work currently includes fiction, personal essays, book reviews, self-help articles, emails, and web content. I have offered feedback to a diverse range of writers, from academic writing to fiction, with specialties ranging from neuropsychology, LGBTQ+ representation, and religious philosophy.
Which writing service do I need?
Content writing is focused on the qualitative aspects of a topic. For example, me writing about my lived experience as a transgender individual is considered content writing, since it is without a specific goal or product in mind other than exposition or education.
Copywriting is focused on advertisement of a product or service. Here, being succinct while creating a story around the thing being advertised is key. Ideally, an audience won’t be able to tell the difference between content writing and copywriting, since most audiences get turned off by blatant persuasion.
Creative writing is the process of writing stories or narratives, often fiction or creative nonfiction. Creative writing usually revolves around one or more characters with a setting, plot, and climax.
